Madé van Krimpen, Booth A37

The Dutch Madé van Krimpen brings a solo show by Ayşen Kaptanoğlu (Istanbul, 1985). The artist analyzes the unequal gender power dynamics and the way in which women’s lives and bodies are shaped by society. She was the winner of the Jeanne Oosting Prize 2025.

Richard Saltoun has chosen four artists with strong ties to Belgium: Andre Cadere (1934–1978, Polish-Romanian), Barry Flanagan (1941–2009, Welsh), Jacqueline Poncelet (born in 1947, Belgian) and Ria Verhaeghe (born in 1950, Belgian).
Furthermore, selected works by Henri Chopin (1922-2008, French), Fernand Khnopff (1858-1921, Belgian), and Francis Picabia (1879-1953, French) are not missing.
